IRRI-9 is yet another type of long grain non-basmati rice that is produced in Pakistan. It is mostly grown in Sindh and Punjab regions of Pakistan. These region have the best climate to grow IRR-9 rice. It has a long and narrow opaque grain that stays in shaped even after it is cooked. Many people prefer the muggy touch this rice has to offer.

Preparation
- Boil 6-8 cups of water add 500 gm IRRI-9 Non-Basmati Rice.
- Cook uncovered for 10 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and drain out water.
- Fluff and Serve.
