IRRI-6 is the long grain type of rice grown mostly in the region of Sindh-Pakistan. It has long soft grains. Irri-6 rice is a non-basmati rice, it is known for its economical prices and excellent cooking properties.
Export of IRRI-6 has grown a lot over the time. This is bestselling Pakistani rice all over the world. Irri-6 Rice is mainly export to Africa and Dubai in bulk quantities. Much of Pakistan’s export of IRRI-6 goes to the Middle East, Bangladesh, African Countries and Philippines.

Preparation
- Boil 6-8 cups of water add 500 gm IRRI-6 Non-Basmati Rice.
- Cook uncovered for 10 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and drain out water.
- Fluff and Serve.
